Concrete Shed Floor Damp

There's damp along both edges of my concrete shed floor. no moisture, not actually wet to the touch, just damp. we used dpm, both under the entire floor, which we poured concrete over and also under the footings.. Dear all, i have purchased an ex-display shed. it was re-assembled in my garden and, following advice on this forum, i wanted a damp proof membrane placed over the tops of the tanalised wooden bearers and the underneath of the shed floor to protect the flooring from rot.. A basic run down of the process is to dig the hole 300mm wider and longer than your shed floor, 100mm deep (providing the ground underneath is solid) and pour the concrete onto a damp proof membrane you have laid inside the base of the hole.. Damp concrete floors are often common in garages. chances are that when the concrete was poured, no plastic was laid beneath it to form a vapor barrier. basements with this problem may have to use a dehumidifier to remove excess moisture from the area..
